It's really starting to feel like autumn now, and this morning we had our first fog of the season. Morning fog is a good sign, because it almost always heralds a warm, dry and sunny day ahead.
I'm not sure which crop works best for this image. Which do you prefer?
Crop 1
or Crop 2?
That's a beautiful photo! I prefer the first crop since it has a little blue in the sky.
ReplyDeleteFirst crop - the rule of thirds! One photo tip I try to use is the rule of thirds. Read more about it here...

Very lovely and serene shot!
I ran across your blog, while I was searching for other bloggers that are doing a photo of a day project this year1 I recently started this project myself! Your pictures are amazing! I also linked you in my blog so I can come back & visit!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shot. I prefer the first crop.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot! I wasn't easy for me to decide now... after some scrolling up and down I'm with everyone so far here: the first crop. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments, folks. It looks like you all agree that the first crop is better. I tried to follow 'the rule of thirds' in the first crop, and it seems like it did improve the image.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to new visitors Alan and Lisa.
How could I have missed this one??? Absolutely beautiful, Helen ... and yes, it's the first crop for me, too.
