Day 352 & Retrospective: animals

I've only got a fortnight to go now on this project, and I thought it might be interesting to do a series of retrospectives, looking at some of my favourite shots over the course of the project in different categories.

Here's today's shot: the family of martins seem to hang around the house a lot when the weather's wet. I should imagine there are fewer insects in the air when it's raining, so maybe the martins spend less time on the wing, feeding.

    I like the horse. The next time it's wet I must have a good look at a snail - I'm sure the snails in my garden don't carry such colourful homes!
