Day 133

I didn't get my flowers home yesterday until after dark, so today I got a chance to take photos of them in daylight. I don't have any photo lights and I had to do yesterday's shoot using the task lighting in the kitchen, which isn't ideal.

I'm not particularly keen on the results of today's shoot. I want a macro lens so that I can get closer. There's a very cute little spider living in amongst the flowers, and I took some shots of him/her, but none of them came out very well. Again, that's a job for a macro lens!

  1. These are lovely Helen. I can't wait until you get a macro lens because I just know you're going to take beautiful pictures with it. I don't have any photo lighting either and usually have to do quite a bit of developing in Lightroom to get my indoor photos to work. Otherwise they seem to come out looking very yellow, even with the white balance set correctly.

  3. I agree these are lovely, hope you can get your macro lens soon, can you hire one for a while? I have the canon 60mm and 100mm, the 60 is fantastic!
