Day 136

Two little birds - a pair of martins.



I tried getting closer, but they flew away. I'm going to add a paparazzi-style telephoto lens to my wish list!

I used selective colour on this because I found the green background distracting. I think the birds show up better against grey.

    This works really well with selective colour. How convenient of them to sit for you. I wouldn't mind a proper long telephoto lens too. I think they're usually pretty heavy though, so not something you'd want to carry around on the off chance.

    Wonderful image. I find little birds so hard to capture. They tend to fly away before I even get a chance.
