Day 209

I can't stay long. I've got a 'sofa date' with my favourite bloke to watch a film.

Today's photo break was all about animals!

A caterpillar on our deck:



Delightful nose detail on this cow! ;-)



I'm not sure which version of this next shot I prefer: the 'vanilla processing' colour version...


...or the high contrast black and white version. Let me know what you think, won't you?

    Personally, I'm not a fan of b&w for the sake of it - for me, it needs to really add something to the shot and (in my opinion) in this one it actually loses something: the wonderful cloud formation in the background and the stark contrast of the lines.

    My favourite of the three is the cow, though ... with her cute fringe looking like it's held back with a hair clip!!
